Has Braun already played his last game in Milwaukee? Either way, you can have Ryan's old digs for $1.15M

Many will say it means nothing, but I think it may hint he is done playing baseball after this year regardless of what happens. If a 2020 season happens they may force all the players to quarantine at a specific location, thus he doesn’t need a big condo. He also probably would not have his family traveling from California all the time during the pandemic...so also doesn’t really need it. If he has some change of heart not that hard to rent a place for a year.

I always figured he is simply playing out the contract and after it is done he can go be a dad full time. Even with a decent year I thought there was a good chance he would retire even if we picked up the option.

Does the 1.15 million include a closet full of Remetees?

They’ve interviewed him a few times, the latest about how he’s spending his time, and he sounds content with the family time he’s been given. It’ll be a weird ending to one of the Brewers greats careers but I can definitely see him not playing anymore unless the DH is around and the Brewers feel he can fit that role going forward for a year or so.

That or Milwaukee's real estate market has really skyrocketed. Asking price is a 9% annual increase since he bought in 2013?

That was my thought as well. I was surprised he got it for $635K

Over reaction, it could be many reasons, some probably not even mentioned here yet...

Should have just handed it off to Yelich.

It is a large appreciation but downtown is drastically "cooler" since he bought it. I think it probably would have been listed about now even if we were having a regular season. Also of note is that it is a 3BR and he is about to have 3 kids. Fine for normal people, but if he wants to play another year they could just move into something larger. And hire people to do all the work.
