Robinson Cano hit with a 162 game suspension for his second positive PED test.

Likely Hall of Famer at one point now a twice caught cheater.

$24,000,000 loss when he has zero financial incentive to cheat anymore.

The Mets' luck has really turned around, huh? $24 million they no longer have to pay to a 38-year-old.

For Cano, I'm guessing this dooms his chance to reach 3,000 hits. I wonder if the Mets will just cut the cord and release him.

I'm assuming he's not getting paid in 2021 but is he still getting the $48M left on the contract for 2022 and 2023? If so, I bet he's a little embarrassed he got caught again but I'm sure he'll be fine with the near quarter billion dollar he'll have made in his career.

I didn’t realize it was 2 additional years. Yikes.
