That is sweet.

Sorry, Madison softball, but if Prince starts the ASG I'm watching it live instead of you.
I hope you'll understand.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I shouldn't be shocked but I am. Really shocked. Prince beating out Pujols? Good showing from the fans.

I'm impressed that he's gotten so far ahead of Pujols.

250k+ higher than Pujols after being down 45k a few weeks ago.

Nice work.

That inside the park home run may have been the best thing to happen to him all year. Thank you, Lew Ford.

Should we start a VOTE JJ campaign? He's within striking distance!

Hardy won't overtake Reyes, but he may have enough votes to make a serious case for being a reserve.

there will be an article in the JS soon about a group of about 10 people that go to MP often. How they together punched between 100 and 200 thousand ballots. How MP ran out of all star ballots so they went to wrigley and MN to pick up more. I have seen these guys in action sitting outside before a game punching boxes of ballots at a time.

If that's the case, I wish they would keep quiet about it. It's not unheard of for commissioners to invalidate certain all-star vote totals (I remember David Stern invalidated Artest's win a few years ago). Hopefully they put the story out after the team is announced.

unless they were counted very recently, i believe the hanging chad ballots haven't been tabulated yet.

thus, the figures announced today do not include those ballots.

Hopefully, Eugene can use this offseason to work on his punctuation.

What's with the JS and (purported) voter fraud? Biskupic ran out of steam on that front, so they're going to turn to Bud?

those are the people at the player's lot everyday...

I saw them when I was there on the 19th, they had 4-5 boxes.

Its nice to see the Brewers finally getting some love. I wish JJ could pull it off too but I doubt there is time to make up the votes. I can't believe Andruw Jones is 5th in OF voting and he is hitting .197 what a joke.

reported on mlb.com today:
Quote:
Right now, all of those "offline" ballots are being dumped into the mix and tabulated under tight security. Then, that number goes into the database while the clicks keep on coming here at MLB.com.

as mentioned earlier, vote totals have been from online voting only. if voting at miller park has indeed been brewers-centric, prince fielder should win easily . . . with j.j. hardy having an outside chance to win the starting nod.

Hopefully, Eugene can use this offseason to work on his punctuation.

If you vote more than 25 times in a day, do they just stop counting them? I've been getting my 25/day in. They'll let you keep going but I don't want to waste my time.

I wish the stupid voting system would simply allow you to vote 25 times at once. It's so annoying going through and simply re-casting the same ballot for 20 minutes. Of course, I'd assume it's for security purposes and to avoid ballot stuffing.

^^^It's to get a true measure of how badly you actually want those players to the All-Star game.

MLB is so afraid of a repeat of the "Nomar" incident of a few years ago. I understand the concern, but I wish they could come up with an easier system. Then again, I've got no real ideas on how to improve it.
