I attended the Power's 11-0 win over Asheville tonight. I was able to get some pictures. I've included a few here. Dominant performance by Zach Braddock, 7 innings of 2 hit ball, 11 strikouts.

Brent Brewer at the plate in the top of the 1st, a 7 run inning for the Power.

Taylor Green beating the throw in the 1st.

Zach Braddock on the mound.

This didn't turn out so well, but it is Brent Brewer's home run cut in the 7th.

Nice shot from way beyond centerfield of McCormick Field, one of the oldest and nicest minor league parks around.

Nice pics! Their right-field wall is over 30 feet tall?

yeah, asheville has a genuinely odd ball park...it's very short in left...like 290, but 30 or so feet tall...it's a major home run park..

The second picture looks so strange to me. The only players you can see on the field are th catcher and Taylor Green sliding into home. Where are all the other players? Cool pics - nice work.

Yeah, it's 297 down the right field line. Some people here call it the Blue Monster. We were sitting in the 3rd row of box seats at the beginning of the game, so that's probably why there weren't too many players in the field of vision. Moved up a few rows after that.

Unfortunately, West Virginia only plays here one series a year.
