At AAA, OF Kyle Wren activated from the Sky Sox DL, catcher Charlie Meyer placed on the Maryvale paper roster, and as noted on the Major League Forum, catcher Jett Bandy cleared waivers and remains Brewers' property.

At AA, both RHP Josh Uhen and LHP Quintin Torres-Costa placed on the 7-day DL, with Torres-Costa retroactive to 5/29.

RHP Jayson Rose and LHP Blake Fox have been assigned to Wisconsin's 7-day DL. They had been on the Helena roster to this point.

C Natanael Mejia is listed as a coach for the Brewers' co-op team in the DSL, but remains on Biloxi's 7-day DL as a break glass in case of emergency catcher option.

Players opening the Dominican Summer League on the disabled list --

19-year-old 3rd year middle infielder Luis Manon

***

20-year-old LHP Davison Gonzalez, entering his 2nd pro season; the Venezuelan debuted last August as one of the older signees from the July 2nd international draft class

***

21-year-old RHP Victor Vasquez goes on the 60-day DL, not a good sign for making an appearance this year. The 6'4" Dominican native walked 26 in 28.1 2017 innings in his debut year, but managed a 2.86 ERA.

***

Similarly to the 60-day DL, RHP Nestor Batista, another tall (6'5") Dominican, who made nine relief appearances in his debut 2017 season, but last pitched on July 13th.

The Brewers have signed 27 year old RHP Danny Reynolds to a minor league free agent deal and activated him tonight for Biloxi. He was a 6th round pick of the Angels back in 2009 and played in the Braves system last year.

RHP Aaron Wilkerson activated off of the Sky Sox' DL after a 10 day stay. Have not heard the corresponding move, though it's safe to assume a pitcher was involved as Colorado Springs already had 14 pitchers active.

Paolo Espino moved to the Helena roster to make room for Wilkerson.

Do you think they will bump Orimoloye or Segovia up?

My guess is Segovia up or Grisham down. Orimoloye has had a really rough past couple of weeks.

Belonis was a major investment for the Brewers at the time, a $550,000 signing bonus. Lost nearly all of his 2nd pro season in 2013 to a broken thumb. Never clicked (career .636 OPS as a corner OF), was going to be a minor league FA this fall.

Brewers catching prospect Jacob Nottingham has been activated from the Triple-A DL after missing about three weeks with a rib-cage injury. Another catcher, Jett Bandy, is also active for the @skysox tonight after being outrighted on Friday.

To make room for Jacob Nottingham and Jett Bandy at AAA, catcher Dustin Houle was placed on the Sky Sox DL retroactive to June 2nd and INF Gabriel Noriega was placed on the same 7-day DL retroactive to June 4th.

Seems like phantom moves to maintain roster depth, but we probably should not assume in the possibility of legitimate injuries.

Catcher Nathan Rodriguez was placed on the Carolina 7-day DL retroactive to June 2nd to help make room for the newest Mudcats.

Keep in mind that Helena and Maryvale roster limits are 35 non-disabled list players, and with the rookie leagues about to get underway with a bunch of new draftees, the Brewers will have to play games with the various DL's rather than the taxi squad paper rosters of April and May.

That being said, we are not sure of Rodriguez' actual injury (or not) status at this time.
