So to summarize, the following players will reach 5 years of service time in 2019 if they spend the entire season on the active roster up to:

Chase Anderson: 4/22
Erik Kratz: 4/14
Jimmy Nelson: 5/31
Hernan Perez: 6/28

So, if these guys are still in the organization they have to be on the 25 man roster on opening day unless they are injured:

Kratz, Broxton, Santana, Albers, Houser, Thames

along with the obvious guys we'd want to roster anyway: Chacin, Jeffress, Aguilar, Pina, Perez, Braun, Yelich and Cain

Players on the 40 man have to be optioned to the minor leagues.

Since Dubon was added to the 40 man after the 2017 season his first option was used when he was sent to Colo Springs to open the 2018 season.

Updates:

- I totally forgot to update this when Santana was traded for Gamel, and have corrected that.
- Just so I don't forget when it's made official, I've gone ahead and added Grandal.

jake petricka is missing from the list. it's been reported as one left, but i fail to see how he burned his second option.

Updates:
- Added Mike Moustakas
- Added Jake Petricka (I agree that it looks like he should have 2 options remaining)
- Updated Adrian Houser to include his 4th option

If you are going to have all of those other notes would also add Petricka can refuse an assignment after 15 days in the majors. It likely doesn't matter if he has one or two options remaining.

Thanks Outlander, I haven't been as active here during the offseason so I missed a few things clearly.

I'll wipe out all the 2018 notes after the season starts, and add new 2019 notes as the season progresses.

the 2019 brewers media guide states that jake petricka has two minor league options remaining.

however, it also states that junior guerra is out of options. if a player on a fourth option is optioned (regardless of length of time optioned), does he burn that fourth option? guerra was certainly down less than 20 days, so under normal circumstances, he shouldn't have burned an option in 2018.

I do recall Adam McCalvy also confirming Guerra does not have any options remaining but unclear how that 4th option was burned.
