just sat down in my seats in miller park and its sad to see today such a swarm of red shirts/jerseys today...lets make those redbird fans upset

I was dismayed enough to see as many as I did yesterday. It's probably my non-competitive XX chromosomes talking, but if I lived in another market, I'd be content to let the home fans have their opening day in peace. In that specific sense, I'm not looking forward to seeing the STLs come out on Sunday.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Am I the only one who has never seen the Cubs-Cardinals rivalry as friendly?

Awesome, I had totally forgotten I wouldn't get this game on MLB.tv due to the blackout rules.

Forget MLB.tv, why isn't the game on the baseball package with Direct TV?

same reason. FOX has exclusive national rights on Saturdays between 4 and 7 or 8 EST...so any game broadcast during those times (i.e. the MLB on FOX games like today) are blacked out in the mlb.tv or extra innings packages. been that way forever, and it still is for some reason.

Molina...complained...about strike 2. Suddenly the same spot is no longer a strike against him.

The poster previously known as Robin19, now @RFCoder
EA Sports...It's in the game...until we arbitrarily decide to shut off the server.

5 pitch inning for Wainwright and we can't blame it on Yuni.

Maybe the umpire did not want Molina to spit in his face?

The home run inning is back! and the prize this year is a Woodman's gift card. I didn't realize Woodman's sponsored anything.

More off-field minutiae: there is now a Twitter account for the Pulled Pork Parfait (@millerparkpork).

Aram! Just missed the 2 run homer. Two more feet in elevation and that ball would have been gone.

More importantly, a big run on a 2 out hit.

I know he had an rbi groundout yesterday, but after the big 2-out double it's time to officially say
"Welcome to Milwaukee Aramis"

Corey seems to be adjusting to the 5 spot pretty well.

It's safe to say Corey was just faking an injury.

Is Greinke working on a FIP one-hitter?

OK, so why doesn't Fox have a channel on Direct TV that shows the game? All of the Fox channels here are showing Red Sox - Tigers.
