Eh, I don't really care. In the end, the Brewers get just as many calls in this manner as their opponents do over a 162-game schedule, so it really doesn't matter one way or another. So if there are more sweet defensive plays made on "tag" outs and double plays that are borderline calls, that's fine by me.

On another note, I think Gomez just about had a foot in the right-handed batters box when he tried to bunt there

Well, Estrada here probably means Roenicke is sitting Ax tonight. Loe, Veras, and K-Rod will probably finish it out. Gotta think he'd go Loe, Veras, K-Rod, Ax otherwise.

Parra threw 7 pitches yesterday so he is unavailable tonight hopefully.

Wow the Cubs are already losing focus in game 5. It will be a long season for them. We should set up camp in Miller Park south later in the year with all the $5 tickets that will be available

Gonzo was safe, but there's NO WAY an ump calls that.

Ha...I have Gameday up, and they have a new feature where they give a "scouting report" during ABs. During DeWitt's AB, the Scout said, "Marco Estrada is trying to tie up Blake DeWitt with fastballs inside, where he is batting .333 this season, compared to .000 overall." So...he somehow has a hit without getting a hit? I see....

So MLB Gameday has these little "scout" observations every so often. During DeWitt's AB, it said, "Marco Estrada is trying to tie up Blake DeWitt with fastballs inside, where DeWitt is hitting .333 compared to .000 overall."

This makes no sense, right?

EDIT: DRAT!

Seems like a bad strategy too on Estrada's part [laughing]

Axford has a pretty nasty Tim Lincecum haircut to go along with his stache

Always nice to pay off the hustle by Gamel and poor defensive decision by Starlin

I thought I saw Mike Leake in our dugout but then I realized it was Gamel.

Well played, stalton. [smile]

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Gamel seems seriously competent at first defensively so far. Let's hope it continues when focus may start to waver in the middle of the season

Lol at Gomez wearing an elbow guard in the field. Guarantee he had it on in the dugout and forgot to take it off. I guess he's too cold.
