I was gonna go there, but decided to go with the question about the Cubs instead.

Is it too early to wonder if whoever beats up on the Cubs the most is going to make the playoffs, as when the Crew won the wildcard largely thanks to destroying the Pirates?

I believe this 10 straight wins against the Cubs? So, fair question.
[Edit: That's not even close to right, not sure where I had heard that.]

Also, I think this marks 4 straight wins over Dempster.

Glove flap, baby, glove flap. [smile]

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

That was one fine pitching-dominated win. Yo looked excellent, and his cutter was looking very nice (esp. as the called 3d strike to Byrd in the 7th). Even if Yo can't ever get really comfortable with his changeup, if what we saw of the cutter today is a preview of things to come, he won't need the change to be a dominating pitcher.

Kudos to Kottaras on another beautiful swing on the cement-mixer slider from Dempster. That ball was crushed! I love George's swing, it's just so simple, quiet, short, & effortless-looking. He never looks like he's swinging out of his shoes, but his HR distances sure make it seem that way.

Good to see Gamel with another nice game. As of right now, the Overbay comparisons seem closer to what his worst-case projection as a big-league hitter should be. Nice to see Mat delivering right away as a full-time starter. Another guy with a simply gorgeous swing.

Totally agree. Two great swings those guys have. Awesome win for the crew with 3 starters out.
