Like this line-up. I wonder if Hart stays hot if he will stay in the clean up spot.

Gamel getting so much PT pretty much squashes all the prvious talk about RRR's Ish crush.

3B Cesar Izturis

This is a very big problem. Not just one start, but that Izturis is obviously the only real IF backup. The fix is so obvious to me, ditch Ish for Taylor Green & then you never have to play Izturis's bat at 2B or 3B. He's completely unacceptable as a hitter at 3B.

At least, RR didn't put him at clean-up to keep everyone else in their "regular" spots...

Yeah, I was shocked that Green didn't make the MLB club. I'm not sure how much experience he's had in OF but if they're comfortable with him in the corners once in awhile, he could get a start pretty much anywhere but CF/C/SS and get semi-regular playing time.

Izturis's 2012 ZIPS Projection:

.248/.291/.306

That is just absurdly bad for any position player and a joke for a backup 3B.

Pitchers are dealing today.

Brewers have had a bit of bad luck so far. Hart looked like he crushed one with 2 runners on in the 1st inning, but the wind just laughed. Izturis actually had a solid little grounder up the middle, but the double-play shift did exactly what it was supposed to do.

You jinxed Grienke pretty bad. Steve Clevenger and Reed Johnson just got a run off of him.

Hope one run isn't enough to beat us. It almost was yesterday, ugh.

Only watching on the gamecast, Cubs actually earn those runs or was it a popup double like it appeared on here?

Clevenger is really good at swinging late and getting doubles down the LF line

Another one of those huh. The one he hit yesterday I swear was an accident. What is going on here? 3 straight singles? Greinke just lose it or what?

No way he could have caught it. He misplayed it when it bounced, though, which probably turned a single into a double.

Of course Soriano breaks his bat on an "excuse me" swing and drives in two.

Everyone was talking about the first ever Wrigley sweep too much and we jinxed this game before it started. I expect about 3 line drive outs today and 2 HRs brought back by the wind
