Someone please tell me that wasn't yet another "i'm going to swing so i don't strike out and oh look i somehow hit an opposite field double" by Clevenger.

Greinke hung one and he inside-outed in down the line

It was still an inside-out swing, but it was solid.

I wouldn't care if I got kicked out of the official scorer's union: that's not an E6.

Yeah, oh well. Can't win them all I guess. Though sweeping them with Greinke on the mound would have been nice.

Didn't we get Gonzalez for his defense? Isn't that why we're supposed to tolerate his horrible offense? That's his 3rd error of the year already...

Edit: Oh, maybe it was Game's fault then...gamecast.

He made a fantastic play and Gamel wasn't on first base. It was TOTALLY an E-3. My .gif above is what happened.

I guess if that was going to happen with a guy on second, that was a particularly low-incremental-damage situation for it.

When the shortstop makes a perfect play and throws it to the perfect spot, it's not his fault if the first baseman decides to play a different game by running to second base.

Edit: sorry it this came off as nasty. Just one of those days.

Wait, it was a grounder and Gamel wasn't covering first base? How is that possible?

Nice, maybe we should get a Chico's Bail Bonds racing sausage.

I guess Yo and Greinke will swap great and terrible outings all season

He was running towards the cutoff position from the CF throw (Morgan cant even throw the ball to the mound anyways), he thought it was a sure hit up the middle, it was really a great play from Gonzo

He was moving to a cut-off position, clearly must've thought it would get through.

Maybe he's been watching 2011 video featuring Yuni (who NEVER would've gotten there).

Schroeder said it looked like Gamel thought the ball was going to get through, so he was getting into cutoff position. Maybe I can't blame Gamel when, even in his short time in the bigs last year, he was used to seeing Yuni at SS.

No worries, didn't take it nasty anyways. I'm on the gamecast, so I shouldn't jump to conclusions about Gonzalez...I really disliked his signing and wanted to jump on him for a third error. If Gamel doesn't cover first....well I can't defend that. Just frustrated.

I say let's just use up all our runbad today so when I go to the game in Atlanta tomorrow night, everything works out.

not that I'm wishing for a loss today or anything, but that works for me. extrapolate that out to all weekend though.

Most of this bad luck can probably be put on the Ghost of Yuni Past.

Without regard to what happens today, how long do you continue the Parra bullpen residency before you cut bait? I can't see him lasting the whole year. I hope he pitches well enough that he does, but I just don't think it will happen.
