April 13 | 6:35 P.M.

Brewers (4-3) | Braves (2-4)
FSN HD | WTMJ 620
ImageImage
0-1, 5.40 ERA, 2.00 WHIP
Versus Braves | Game Log
Turner Field is a relatively pitcher-friendly park, but has given Wolf trouble to the tune of a 5.01 ERA in his 16 starts and two relief appearances there. Overall against Atlanta, he's 5-12 with a 5.28 ERA in 28 games.
0-1, 6.23 ERA, 2.31 WHIP
Versus Brewers | Game Log
There is still some skepticism surrounding Jurrjens as he prepares for the home opener. He struggled through Spring Training and his velocity was still down as he lasted just 4 1/3 innings against the Mets on Saturday.
Starting Lineups
  1. 2B Rickie Weeks
  2. CF Nyjer Morgan
  3. LF Ryan Braun
  4. 3B Aramis Ramirez
  5. RF Corey Hart
  6. 1B Mat Gamel
  7. SS Alex Gonzalez
  8. C George Kottaras
  9. LHP Randy Wolf
  1. CF Michael Bourn
  2. 3B Martin Prado
  3. 1B Freddie Freeman
  4. C Brian McCann
  5. 2B Dan Uggla
  6. LF Matt Diaz
  7. RF Jason Heyward
  8. SS Tyler Pastornicky
  9. RHP Jair Jurrjens

Nice, Kottaras/Wolf start again lines up with an opposing RHP. Genius RRR, pure genius.

Here's something we'll probably be saying a lot of this season: "GO CUBS!". It's nice when a rival is so bad that you can cheer for them when they play your competitors.

Nice 4-0 lead for the Cubs against the Cardinals.

I hate losing to guys named Jair Jurrjens. That's the type of name that leads to your lunch money being stolen.

And Samardzija keeps it interesting. Ugh.

Why on Earth does RR hit Gonzalez ahead of Kottaras against a righty?

Fan is short for fanatic.
I blame Wang.

I'm in Phoenix and they just said "stay tuned after this game where we'll see Atlanta host the Brewers for the Brave's home opener"
Fingers crossed [smile]
The Dtv guide says Philly & the Mets.

I thought Braves fans were a lot more classy than they have shown so far. I'd expect some boos for Braun and such, but then they even starting booing about the ump wanting the scoreboard changed, which is an obvious distraction. Actually did think the boos for Braun wouldn't be as bad either, but I guess that's more attributed to the bigger crowd.

And a leadoff walk to Bourn. Might as well call it a double. He'll be at second shortly. Kottaras has no chance.

That should have been an easy play for Gamel, it wasn't even that hard hit.

Well, that Gonzalez/Kottaras order wasn't a 100% failure. Gunshow!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I do worry about Gamel's confidence as BA said. Hopefully plays like that don't start to snowball on him. He looked a lot better in ST, so he's clearly capable.
