Dodgers (9-1) | Brewers (4-6)
FSN HD | WTMJ 620
ImageImage
2-0, 0.63 ERA, 0.63 WHIP
Versus Brewers | Game Log
Dominant through his first two starts, the right-hander has combined to give up only one run on eight hits against the Padres and Pirates. With pinpoint control in both starts, Billingsley has walked only one and struck out 15 in 14 1/3 innings.
1-1, 5.91 ERA, 1.78 WHIP

Gallardo was so shaky on Opening Day, the Brewers studied video to see if he was tipping pitches. They didn't find anything, and Gallardo allayed fears with seven superb innings against the Cubs on Wednesday in a 2-1 win.

Not sure why Gonzalez isn't back in the lineup. I hate seeing Izturis in there.

I just saw Mike Vassalo tweet that Gonzalez was only activated because he had to be, but he won't be back until tomorrow.

Rickie is currently striking out at a 40% clip, and on pace for 243 K's this year. Come on Rick! I feel this is the game he gets back on track. At least I hope so, the team needs his bat to heat up in a bad way.

I kind of feel the same about Izturis as I felt about Wil Nieves last year, except at least Nieves only backed up one infield position, not three.

Matt Kemp is 9-1. Playing the Pads a bunch doesn't hurt either.

The radio stream is working on the WTMJ site. Isn't it normally unavailable for games? Not that I'm complaining.

Gordon looks like a rookie on the basepaths.

Nice pickoff, though.

Why does game day say we have 2 runs, isn't it 3?

(Edit) Nevermind, Itzy didn't score on Weeks double

You'd think they'd get more out of hitting for the team cycle than just 2 runs. It's not impossible to score only 1 doing that, but you'd think that it's pretty rare to get only 2 as well.
