This game has getting out of control written all over it. We very well could be seeing the end of Jimmy Nelson as a starting pitcher for the Crew. (fingers crossed)

Yet he's gone 6 complete with 1 unearned run. Funny how we pick apart some players. [laughing]

As for Villar, his base running bothered CC enough that he sat him out the next day.

I have to give credit to Jimmy. There was some luck involved too but no way early on did I think it would have been possible for 6 and two thirds and no earned runs from now.

It's not a bad move, especially with no Thames in, didn't work out. I didn't see the fly out from Perez but assume it would have scored Keon if he has made it.

I agree there was no reason the other night for everyone getting on Villar for trying to take 3rd with 1 out.

[laughing] Yeah, I hear you on all parts. We just seem to pick apart some players and others we don't seem to mind much.

It's because with Villar, it is a habit, and gets old... Simple as that.

Nelson, Jungman and Davies all college pitchers needing development. Don't know if Brewers have staff to develop.

He got out a base loaded jam and then settled in. Very happy with that I will say. Timing of the post is everything.

And Villar is crucified around here. Way more than he deserves.

Knebel needs a strikeout badly here. Strikeout, double play ball and lets get to the bats.

Knebel walking the high wire with no net, but he makes it safely to the other side. Need to push across some runs for a potential sweep.

Knebel gets the Houdini of the week award for that escape.

After 41 pitches, I expect Knebel's arm to turn black and fall off at the shoulder socket.

Dang. Opportunity missed right there.

BTW, what is on the bill of Kimbrell's hat? Big spot on the top of the bill.

Anyone else feel like Feliz won't get us through this inning still tied??

Ugh, hope I'm wrong.

Edit - walking the leadoff guy sure doesn't help. Is it me or has the bullpen done this a TON lately??

Well he's been great in the save situations and not so great in tied games so far this year so I feel as though the trend will continue OR he will buck that trend and get us to the 9th.

Obligatory walk of the leadoff hitter.

Feels like Feliz always walks the first batter he faces...

I think it's in his contract that he has to walk the leadoff hitter.

Good grief. Of all the times for Arcia to make an error.

My patience with Feliz is wearing very thin.

5.17 ERA through 17 games.

Only 13 k's in 15 innings.

Problems with the long ball.

Not good.
