1st and 2nd... no hits yet.

I'm following along on my phone. Anyone care to explain what happened?

You are awful, Feliz. Just awful. Wish you were off this team.

Well that wasn't at all predictable huh??

Frustrating. The error doesn't help. But that's no excuse for walking the leadoff guy and throwing one right down the middle to Betts (who I realize is good, but the Brewers certainly pitched him incredibly poorly in this series). I've had just about enough of Feliz at this point. Let Barnes or Knebel give it a shot.

Well that stinks. This game could've and should've been won if we had our A-lineup in there. Hate giving away games.

ugh, this is what happens when you are constantly behind in the count because you can't throw strikes!

I don't think Feliz is going anywhere in the closers role. He's been successful in doing that so far. The other situations he's been brought in though he has been putrid.

Feliz has been terrible almost every outing he puts men on base
he should be moved out of the closer role.

Feliz might as well just IBB the first batter of every inning he pitches and save the pitches on his arm.

Stearns is awesome but he whiffed with Feliz. And it's not early, he just sucks. A closer that walks guys and gives up bombs is not a recipe for success.

So who's next in line? Knebel?

8 of 9 in closing situations tells a different story.

Error. Grounder to Feliz, he threw to 2nd and Arcia dropped it. Good throw.

I am of the opinion that Knebel should be the closer.

I would dfa Feliz and free up the roster spot/40 man spot.

This is why we use more advanced methods of evaluation than wins, saves, or holds to determine if a pitcher is getting the job done. Feliz has been absolutely terrible.

The throw was high but it still should have been caught. Just popped out of Arcia's glove.

Yes, in none save situations he has been. Never disagreed with that. I'm also not going to write off the guy on 15 innings worth of pitching. If he continues to get three outs before another teams gets the game tied or takes the lead, he most likely won't be moving from the closers role.

But by using advanced stats we can clearly tell he's been quite lucky to even be 8 out of 9 in save chances. You can always be preemptive in making a move before the guy costs us more games.
