They needed to sign Holland. Knebel would have been an excellent 8th inning guy. It's a different game in the 9th.

Knebel SUCKS with only a 1-run lead. He needs at least a 2 or 3 run lead.

Knebel has been amazing. Disappointing for sure, but this will happen.

Lol yeah they totally envisioned being 49-40 and in first place on this date.

Shame that Knebel and the bats wasted a great pitching performance.

Rough loss and Braun made it what, almost 2 weeks before another injury?

Late inning walks kill you about 99 percent of the time in close games

Doesn't mean you sign the worst option in Feliz regardless of expected record.

Frazier wins this game.

Corey got squeezed with the other batters then tried to get that fastball past him.

Tough loss.

Knebal has been incredible this year, every closer blows a few one run games. It happens.

Knebel has been flirting with this for awhile.

Exactly. He just didn't have it today - he isn't a machine. We just won, what, 5 in a row? This isn't the end of the world. It is disappointing to lose like that but we can't win 'em all. Let's go win the series tomorrow with Jimmy on the mound.

He's been a fantastic reliever. He just hasn't been fantastic in the closer's role.

I'd love to switch Barnes and Knebels roles.
