Oliver Drake: the R-LOOGY. Righties still have an OPS >1.000 against him.

Boy, some insurance runs would really be nice.

At least Torres can't pitch anymore in this game.

the brewers management really need to take this week off an look the roster over and see who need to be replaced and what changes to be made on this roster

I'm sure they are always doing that.

Not sure why you are so doom and gloom when the Brewers have been playing great lately and lead the division by 4.5 games. Not that the roster will ever be perfect, but man, be happy.

That whistle (I agree it sounds like the X-files) is very annoying. Anyone know what the point of it is?

It's a promotion/advertisement for PC Richard and Son, a local appliance store:

(Just as I am typing this the Brewers strike out twice)

Nice play by Santana, he's had his struggles out in right but that was a good one.

Brewers are walking a tightrope in this game. Really could use at least one more insurance run.

Thought for sure that was getting over Santana's head.

We are at game 91 and my stomach is in knots with this bullpen. I can't imagine what this will be like in September/October if we're still in this position.

What happened to Vogt's arm this year? The rest of his career he was right around league average in CS%. This year he's at 14%. I realize this stat fluctuates for some guys year to year but for what it's worth, I've yet to see him get a throw to the 2nd baseman on the fly for the Brewers.

Not sure how long you've been around but '06 '07 '08 are good reference points. A big part of the bullpen struggles those years was bullpen management. Counsel is light years ahead of Yost in that aspect.

I think in game threads are going to be negative by nature. Hope you stick around for the other threads.
