I hope the Crew wake up and get good pitching and hitting back home tonight. Luckily the Cubs aren't winning every game either but the Cards and Pirates are doing well.

A rookie pitching for Milwaukee and the oldest starter in the majors pitching for Minnesota. Hopefully the kid wins.

I was going to go with the Woodruff comparison and say he was 1 when Bartolo became a major leaguer but I like the Arcia comparison better.

Cubs lose. Great opportunity to gain a game on them.

Cubs keep sucking. We gotta stop. Big start for woody to cement his spot.

Positive thoughts towards Shaw and his family.

Bumgarner is only 2-5 with the win today. No wonder the Giants are doing so poorly.

Someone posted on the Brewers Facebook page that Travis' daughter had a 10 hour heart operation today.

Prayers and good thoughts for Travis and family.

I think why this has been so frustrating is because the division is actually out there to be won. This could be a year a Brewers team gets in, rebuilding or not, they have a legitimate shot at doing it. But ONLY if they can figure out how to get hot again.

“There's a fine line between being confident and cocky, or overconfident. This is an extremely humbling game. But if you don't believe in yourself, no one else is going to believe in you.”

Colon's first appearance against the Brewers was when we were still in the AL.

https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxe ... 4260.shtml

Exciting game, Crew scores 3 in the 9th off Jose Mesa (still likely recovering from allowing Robin Yount's 3000th hit) to win on a walk-off single by Jeff Huson

Arcia hitting it to all fields. Great to see him get back to that.

Verlander on a no-hit watch vs. the Buck-o's. 6 2/3 innings
