BREWERS (66-62)

DODGERS (90-36)

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I know this is the big bad scary Dodgers but at some point Roberts has got to start taking it easy with his starters. They lost Bellinger and Wood this week and these games just about mean nothing for them. There's no point in them running out their best 9 every night just to get to the playoffs and have those guys be spent.

I'm sure they will eventually, but it isn't going to be in August.

Probably not but I would rather give my guys rest in August and have them play more in September that way they're still in the swing of things come playoff time.

Well Jose Quintana and the Cubs are getting smoked through six innings. I wonder if they are calling off the season. A Brewers fan would.

As bad as it feels like he's pitched, Quintana has pitched about the same or better than he had been with the White Sox this year. His hits and walks are down and strikeouts are up.

These uniforms couldn't get any uglier.

Cards' fans wear jorts.

Looks like a bullpen day tomorrow for the Dodgers. Is that good for us?

The Dodgers are 54 games above .500 right now, and it looks like in their entire franchise history only 3 teams have finished that far above .500.

Though I don't love the gray pants with the jerseys. Just not sure what other color pants I'd go with.

Something Brewers don't do.....
Walk with two out and no one on
Steal on the first pitch
Score on a base hit.

This is why we hardly have any comebacks this year. We only have a few good relievers who are reserved for games with the lead, and the bums we have to use when we are behind make us gets further behind.

And we rarely score runs late in close games

Their offense hasn't been a dumpster fire since all star break. They are rolling.
