Can this offense actually score a bunch of runs tonight? Have very little confidence.

Garza is crap. No, the 3rd was not all his fault but spin it all you want and make as many excuses for him as you want. If letting him have these last 2 August starts instead of Woodruff costs us just one game, it may be the one game that costs us a playoff shot.

The Garza hatred runs strong in some. A mess of an inning created by crappy defense. Heck even the one Garza booted around probably is an out if Pina just catches the ball. These are the nights that are so frustrating with this team. A chance to knock out the Cards at home and we lay an egg.

And who's error started it all off?

I agree many can be quick to jump on Garza, but numbers don't lie. 4.67 ERA, 1.4 WHIP, 4.94 FIP. And all those numbers climbing tonight.

Fact is, Matt Garza is not a good pitcher.

I am not Shea Vucinich

This might be the start of year 2 of "Operation Shutdown Garza", and we have just seen Garza throw his last pitch as a Brewer.

I go to a lot of games, but I will never spend money going to a Garza start. With the rosters expanding soon this should be his last start.

5 walks in 3 and a third for Garza and people want to say it's on his teammates. Unreal.

Not to mention the fact that none of those unearned runs score if he could field his position. Easiest 1-2-3 DP ever.

It's tough when every game is so huge and we run out Matt Garza and then Torres to replace him.

Neither can throw strikes

BA had a hard time spinning that Bronx cheer from the crowd.

7 walks and we're not even through 4. Hard to believe these 2 bums account for 25% of our payroll.

And we have struck outs six times in three innings of batting.

I wish our media would ask Stearns some hard questions. Like why is Torres still on this team?

“There's a fine line between being confident and cocky, or overconfident. This is an extremely humbling game. But if you don't believe in yourself, no one else is going to believe in you.”
