YEa I think Votto was still on the base but the angles we saw certainly couldn't prove it. If they have more angles so be it

Just tuned in, so blown strike calls and blown replay in the first is that what I'm getting?

Blown strikes for sure. Chances are the call on replay was right, just bad angles to be 'conclusive' evidence.

Still, Braun swung at a ball on 3-1 that should have been bases loaded nobody out. It's still on teh team

Come on Woodruff. Keep the ball in the ballpark.

Blowing that scoring chance in the 1st may prove to be very, very costly.

This is....pretty much last call for us. 2.5 games with 4 to go ...yeah, it's mathematically possible, but someone needs to get swept in the last series at that point and more help and yeah, it would pretty much be over.

Maybe they're just blowing it now so they can say at least it wasn't the Cardinals that ended our season.

Counsell's gonna have to make drastic decisions at this point and consider pulling Woodruff. It may be too late already.

As dumb as you might say it is I honestly would have walked Votto there and load the bases to set up the DP everywhere. I know Scooter has like 11 grand slams this year but Votto is just too good

I’m starting to become very unimpressed with Woodruff. Maybe we do need a free agent or two for next year.

And much as these losses the last couple weeks hurt just remember we gave away 2x as many games at the beginning of the year. That is where the playoffs was lost.

Yup, they should have been sitting on like a 12 game lead instead of 2-5.5 the way the offense was at the beginning.

The way this team has been this year they're not gonna quit tonight, hopefully we'll see that again and fight back right away and make it a game

It's been a fun season......Woodruff still needs some additional development ...doesn't miss enough bats.....velocity is fine but hitters seem to pick up his fastball well

So I guess in Counsell's mind this is not a must win game? Considering we already know the Rockies won what is he thinking using Wang and Torres?

The bases are loaded and the season is on the line? And he brings in Carlos Torres.
