Well tip of the hat to Phillips for taking the 0-2 pitch, maybe that is a preview of better approaches next year

It shouldn't have come down to this. We played stupidly after the ASG.

Hope you are reimbursing the guys for those extra bag fees, Craig.

Haha thanks for posting this. Made me laugh and that is definitely needed right now.

Now that there is no more pressure and no more ability to choke they will put up 10 runs tomorrow

It was a fun season and we have a lot to look forward to in 2018. Even if we lose again tomorrow we'll still be ahead of those damn Cardinals in the standings.

Opponent wins in what ends up being their final at-bat vs our bullpen. Story of our season.

You can say that this was an unexpected season so it's all good but that is false. They blew it plain and simple dozens of times. I don't know how you can be accepting of that.

They missed Jimmy big time. Guerra wouldn't have pitched today with a short stint and the bullpen imploding.

Still, disappointing as today has been, this team exceeded expectations and for the most part did pretty well for themselves.

Game's an absolute trademark game this season. Fitting. Score early, famine late. Lots of dinked to death. Ouch.

Our bullpen has been pretty darn good this season. The bullpen was the least of our problems this year. IMO it was the lack of getting key hits with RISP and thus not being able to add on runs later in the games.

'They had a great season"
"They have something to build on for next year"
"They did better than anyone expected."

All the things the losers say. This game was a microcosm of the whole second half=A big choke job. Business as usual for Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Brewers will still be in second place ahead of the Cardinals even if they lose again tomorrow.

That is something to be proud of for the Crew.

The Cards can celebrate all they want today but that is still a fact. The Crew are a better team than they are.

I'm not sure they would have had the pitching to get through a game on Monday

Should we hang that banner out in left at Miller Park?
