If I was an umpire I could never take Counsell arguing seriously. I'd just stand there and laugh at him.

The home plate ump clearly didn't. He looked confused as to why he was even out there. And Craig actually looked like he was upset for once instead of his usual half-hearted, I'm only here because I supposed to be here schtick.

Do you think the team could get a ticket price discount from the airline if they have both Choi and Santana to the gate by 5 p.m. today?

For two days I've listened to Rock tell me the Indians bullpen is trash and for two days I've seen their bullpen toy with our offense like a cat with a dead mouse.

"You're not going to have him when you want him and you're going to run out of games. He can't pitch 90 games. It's just not going to work. If anyone thinks it's going to work, show me how."- Craig Counsell on Josh Hader.

Color me frustrated but not worried, for now.

This stretch was bound to happen over 162. So I'm not really alarmed. Almost everybody has a weakness and it will expose you for stretches of time. That's baseball.

Here's to hoping they snap out of this before CHC/STL. The pitching is still holding up fine.

13 Ks again today. I think it is time for some changes offensively. Gotta do something.

If there's a concern for me this is it. We can't have three pitchers in the batting order every night. I think one bat could go a long way toward helping. Maybe it's Thames, but I think they need a SS who does something at the plate.

I think the Choi experiment should be (mercifully) over.

So...Perez for Choi? That's weird, but whatever.

Bill with the line of the year. Brewers with a loaded bench. He proceeds to name Pina, Arcia, Braun and Perez.

Cards' fans wear jorts.

The suckiness is countless other players has overshadowed how terrible Hernan Perez is.

Is Braun unavailable today again? Perez hitting for choi here means they are done with him...

Perez types have spots on rosters all over baseball, they're just usually the worst guy on the roster. We have like 5 guys hitting worse than him, which is the real issue.

Why not end the game with another K? 15 is a good solid number.

Wow, that might have been the most pathetic game this team has played all season. The offense is simply atrocious right now.

The amount of 0 and 1 run outings by this offense this season is just disgusting.

Nothing to see here. All is well.

How is their hitting coach still on the payroll?
