Usually a good sign for Freddy if he can avoid an ugly 1st. Hopefully that holds true today.

Nice job, Freddy. Feels like 1st inning has been tough for him. Nice to get out of it with a low pitch count.

Edit: Yup, 9.19 ERA .886 OPS in the 1st. Now if he could just skip the 4th inning...

Day games during the work day are painful...

Retirement can't get here soon enough.

Drinking helps. Side benefit is that you'll be asked to retire [smile]

Our catching tandem is great. So nice having a back up catcher who can hit and play defense.

Fixed it for you. [laughing]

I mean, Piña can hit about as well as one can reasonably expect a glove-first catcher to hit, but his 87 OPS+ sure is't going to win him any hardware. But, I'll grant you, for a backup catcher, you couldn't ask for more.

What is best in life? To crush the Cardinals, Cubs, and Manny Machado, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their fanboys.

Gamel just glides in the outfield. Very underrated pickup, imo.

That last out was on a curve ball. Curious to see how much he throws non-fast balls this year.

Lefties are really having a hard time laying off Castillo's change in the dirt.

Gameday showed that pitch to Votto as perfectly placed at the bottom of the zone.

Freddy at 48 pitches through 4 innings. Completely different pitcher from what we saw last week. Efficient Freddy is the best Freddy. Given the state of the pen and who is down today, I hope they let him roll.

Bench Arcia right now. Unacceptable.

You aren't nearly good enough to be dogging it down the line Orlando. Unbelievable.
