Wouldn’t surprise me to see Shaw and Moustakas in the line up with the lefty being essentially an opener.

That was my thought. Do we even know that Shaw is ready to return?

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Lineup is posted. Grandal is up to the #4 spot, and Aguilar and Shaw are moved down to the #6 and #7 spots.

Looks they wanted to split the lefties and righties since it’s going to be a bullpen game. Probably smarter than mine [smile]

Jesús Aguilar with a big double last night, but now comes into tonight’s game with one less extra base hit than Chris Davis has in 2019.

The Dodgers are starting a player that has thus far only pitched in relief appearances this season (7 total outings) and are expected to go to the bullpen early.

Long relief right-handed hurler Dennis Santana is also expected to pitch tonight.

Maybe this will be a Rookie of the Year scenario where Davies can now throw 120 mph?

Davies continues to shake his hand... I don't think he is long for this game... I hope I am wrong

Just what we need, an injury to a pitcher. Hope Zach can shake this off.

Normally I feel old when I realize I’m now older than most of the players, but tonight’s replacement umpire behind home plate, Jeremie Rehak, is just 31 years old. So far one poor call on the inside pitch for a called third strike against Grandal.

Davies still throwing soft. I’m hoping his velocity returns to old levels soon, although happy with results. It looks like he’s throwing knuckleballs in that he doesn’t appear to be really following through. His motion looks like effortless 87 instead of efforted 93.

That was a short, pretty swing from Moustakas. He is probably hitting it the best of anyone right now after Yelich and Grandal.

I’m here at Dodgers Stadium. Very, very few fans wearing Brewers gear here. I’m talking like less than 20.

Anybody have a picture of Arcia leaving his back foot when swinging?

"You're not going to have him when you want him and you're going to run out of games. He can't pitch 90 games. It's just not going to work. If anyone thinks it's going to work, show me how."- Craig Counsell on Josh Hader.
