Yikes, the Brewers killed Travis d'Arnaud's career last night. Mets have DFA'd him.

A win today guarantees a winning March/April (technically 12-12 in April and 3-1 in March at the moment), so that would be really nice given the schedule.

Hope Gio looks good. Imagine Hader is available for an inning at most. Aguilar getting the start against the lefty, so let's hope he gets going.

When did we sign Thormund?

The bullpen is not our weakness, that starting pitching is. Till it proves otherwise, on paper, it’s a pretty bad group.

Should be fan interference. Batter should be out. Fan should be ejected. Moron.

Fan drops his beer on Braun trying to catch the ball with his beer cup. What an idiot.

I thought as well. The fan never actually touched the ball, but the fan spilled beer on him.

I am steaming, there is no way that should be a triple. Completely inexcusable, MLB needs to issue a statement on that one. Other than not wanting to be complete morons, why wouldn’t fans just throw beer on all of the plays near the wall if it doesn’t impact the ground rules?

I think Braun does miss it, but can't they call it a double based on interference? Difficult to make a clean play on it when you're getting a shower.

Dumping beer on a player attempting to make a play should be interference by itself.

I am at a complete loss all the way around. The Mets crowd management is a complete joke if they aren’t doing anything about that one. It’s really, really pathetic.

Braun missed it, then beer spilled on him. Should have been ground rule double. I would like an explanation

Braun didn’t miss that ball because of the beer. It is a triple unless you are trying to claim a beer shower slowed Braun down from getting the ball and throwing it in. Maybe you want to claim the cup messed with his ability to see the ball...but looked like Braun just failed getting under the ball at the wall for his jump.

Fan should be thrown out regardless though...bit ridiculous. Must be expensive seats they don’t want to boot him out of.
