And Peralta has dropped his ERA 1.01 so far tonight. Keep it up.

And upped his batting average to .250

Is it just me or does Cain swing at a ton of Ball 4s?

Too bad...would have had Yelich up with 1 out and 2 on. Instead, inning over.

Sure glad we didn’t sign dozier, second terrible year in a row.

Meanwhile, that bum Schoop is having a solid year for the Twins. Go figure.

I got home well after Houser was well out of the ballgame. For those of you who actually watched the first couple innings, what was your opinion of Houser. Bullpen keeper for the rest of 2019? I haven't seen one of his appearances this year, but was encouraged by what I saw of him last year.

Lepay has grown on me, I'm a little sour on BA for ditching us for the NBA.

As much as I like BA, I don't care if he comes back or not.

Arcia has got to make routine plays like that. Pitcher up what is the rush to have to backhand?? Lack of awareness is stunning with him sometimes.

Despite solid stuff he really had to survive the first 2 innings. Nothing seemed truly overpowering. I could see him as a long man, inning eater in games where we are down. He did fine but it didn't feel like he was fooling anyone or getting anything easy. At least he has 3 pitches. Peralta has looked decidedly better than Houser.

I'd like to see a replay of that pitch to Rendon. It's been a bigger zone tonight, so at least Bucknor has been consistent.

1. That was closer than some pitches called for strikes on the outside corner.
2. 96.8.... dang.

Again that fastball looks like 100mph plus coming out of his hand. Wow!

MLB had it right on the outside line. Could have gone either way.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

A little tough to be rung up on that on 0-2. Certainly not to the point that it's worth getting tossed over.

Well, if tonight is any indication, they can keep on letting someone else pitch the first inning or two for Freddy.

I agree. However, Lepay has a day job and will never do Brewers full time. I could do without his "break even" call though. It annoys me to no end. The Brewers should just let BA go to do his own thing and find someone who will do 162.

It wasn't even close to being the furthest strike called outside. Machine calls it a ball but it was close.

Hiura watch: 1-2 single K bb

97 for Peralta on that strikeout of Rendon! Nice to see him pick up a few ticks on his fastball!
