I thought Yelich's hit was a lazy flyball.

That was an odd challenge. Maybe CC didn't know the rule on what a homerun is there?

Can't CC just inquire what the ground rules are related to the fence without burning the challenge?

Definitely a waste of a challenge. Someday I would like a better explanation of who/how the advisory role works for the Brewers on those challenges.

Nola finished 3rd in Cy Young voting, behind DeGrom and Scherzer.

...both of whom the Crew have beaten this year!

Three doubles in the inning. Sweet.

Kyle Freeland was 4th in the NL Cy Young voting and they beat him already this year as well!

Edit: And they’ve beaten Miles Mikolas who was 6th in the voting last year.

A secret tunnel? Lame! It would have made my night to see Freddy run from the bullpen to the batter's box because his spot came up.

Maybe a first inning at bat by Freddy will helps with those first inning jitters on the mound. Keep it rolling!

Is there a rule that prevents last-minute changes to the starting lineup before the player has taken the field or an AB?

That is, could the Brewers have someone else hit in the #8 spot then have Peralta take his place even though he has been announced as the starting pitcher?

Hopefully that top half took long enough that Peralta thinks it is the 3rd..

Lineup cards turned in to ump before game. After that, any change would be a substitution

Almost as if someone from the other team did a better job than Thames. [smile]

Thanks for not calling that high breaking ball both ways, ump.

Great, here we go.
