Fans of every team in baseball believe their team sucks at manufacturing runs.

We missed the World Series by 1 game last year and this lineup is better than last year. The offense has beaten Syndergaard, DeGrom, Scherzer and Strasburg this year. They have held up just fine against "world class pitching."

We lost a really competitive series to an elite team. Maybe this year it will go the other way. There is no prime of Ty Cobb sitting around that is going to come in and be the difference.

We lost to the dodgers because we couldn’t hit their pitchers. Period. Our pitching, especially our pen almost won the series despite our lack of offense. Again, im confident Stearns will add a quality disciplined bat, hopefully that will make a difference in the playoffs.

We already did. They were called Yasmani Grandal and Keston Hiura.

Josh Bell with one of the worst at bats I’ve ever seen lol.

We’ve shut him down big time this whole series.

Says a lot about where the teams mind is on Claudio Williams Barnes and Burnes.

We lost because the bats got ice cold at the wrong time, not because of the composition of the team. Obviously payers like Yelich, Cain, Moustakas are more than capable of hitting Dodgers pitching.

Didn't we have a positive run differential in that series against the Dodgers?

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

NLCS: 7 Games
Brewers scored 24.
Dodgers scored 23.

Pirates call for the 3rd LH in a row and MKE goes to Claudio 1 batter later.

L L then have Jeffress ready.

Pretty much everyone hit fine in the Dodgers series, aside from Moose and Yelich and Braun. It's such a small sample that it's not even worth noting. 7 games is a blip on the radar. In the regular season, Yelich had an 1.129 OPS vs the Dodgers. Sometimes players go cold at the wrong time. Trying to collate that data and track anything meaningful from it, and dictate that your team construction should be based around it is a fool's errand.
