Did they switch in a defective bunch of bats?

I’ll say this for the Reds: their team is still trash even after what must have been a soul-crushing, scorched-earth rebuild, but they have some arms now, so that’s cool.

What is best in life? To crush the Cardinals, Cubs, and Manny Machado, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their fanboys.

Or Molto grande if you prefer Italian.

Who is this #21 fellow? Do we have a player by that number that hits bombs? I can’t recall.

Yup, I just told my father an hour ago that Shaw would hit one out and have a big game so that we'll be stuck with him another month lol.

So the first six batters strike out and Shaw hits a bomb into the third deck? What kind of bizarro world are we living in?

"You're not going to have him when you want him and you're going to run out of games. He can't pitch 90 games. It's just not going to work. If anyone thinks it's going to work, show me how."- Craig Counsell on Josh Hader.

I would like to amend my previous statement. The entire Reds roster may be, upon further review, trash.

Nice to see the bats come alive! This is so much more fun than a bunch of strikeouts.

They are expected to be big spenders in the free agency this off-season (only $58 million committed for next season), although I am not sure how well the available free agents fit their areas of need. I could see them making a run at Yasmani Grandal.
