Jordan lyles- the would’ve been ace we cut. Who would’ve thought that?

That brutal ball 4 call changed that entire at bat. Happens in our favor too.... [smile]

The announcers cannot let it go. It was a ball, but Diaz brought it on himself. He chucked the bat and headed to first. If it's at all close the ump calls it a strike when the player does that. It's stupid egotistical nonsense, but that's what they do. He should've known better.

I hate it when a Brewer makes that mistake.

I won’t fault the batter. The ump was late calling that a strike

That was bad on the ump in every way. Good for the brewers. Changed that inning

Like I say, it's dumb and egotistical of the umpires, but you see it all the time. When the pitch is somewhat close and would be ball 4, if the batter busts out of the box before being awarded first base, the ump usually rules a strike. And of course the call is always late because the ump bases the call off of what the batter did after the pitch.

Wish we had a way to re-sign Grandal
But I seriously doubt they're going to be able to come up with the cash to do it

Trust me, cash no problem. Now will they take that cash and re-sign him?

It's been said many times. Do you actually know cash is no problem?

Levering is fantastic, Karros has good insights, but maybe a slightly annoying voice or cadence. Imho.

Have to give Woody credit. He has definitely grabbed the mantle as the Ace of the staff.

Home plate ump just completely miss the 3rd pitch to Thames? Clearly a strike. Yeesh.

I'm not going to get into it again. I just dont think that because you've made money means you have money to spend.

The pitch he just punched Caine out on was way inside.

Cain looks majorly frustrated at the plate right now.

Yep. Had a few gifts for woodruff so far too. Home plate umps are just bad typically.
