Cubs getting crushed. I don't know but the best team in this division just might be the Reds top to bottom. They shouldn't even be in the conversation but the Brewers Cubs and Cards have all been gross. Reds have the best farm of all to get a player if needed too.

If the Brewers being 5 games over and 1 game back is gross you have some crazy standards.

Oh yeah I forgot they have been fantastic. In fact they are heading to the Series. Wake up bro. This team hasn't been good since the 7-1 start. Under 500 since then.

I always find it interesting that people base record or ranking with how well a team is. True, the Brewers are only a game back and are a few games over .500, but this team has been awful the last few weeks. Nothing is really going well and they are fortunate to be in their position at this point. They are by no means playing like a contending team.

With the Cubs losing that can only mean the Brewers will too. At least that has been the case for the last 6 days when both teams have played, i.e matching eachothers result.

Dont think he was going anywhere. I am pretty sure someone posted his hard hit numbers and they were all solid.

Even Yelich up with the bases loaded doesn’t qualify as a scoring threat these days.

Facts. It's unbelievable the amount of fake outrage you get for saying what is obvious. This team isn't very good. Doesn't mean they won't be but to date nope.

Peralta's splits as a starter and a reliever are....not the same.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

If the wall began at the beginning of the warning track, we'd have about 50 HR this last week.

It has been weird, like we are playing at Wrigley with the wind blowing in.

Can we have one single game where the pitching and hitting both decide to actually show up on the same exact day?

Pitch 2 to Newman was a clear strike called a ball and pitch 3 was a clear ball called a strike. They may as well throw darts.

So who else can we bring up to cure the ailing offense?

Looked like Gamel made that harder than it had to be.

"You're not going to have him when you want him and you're going to run out of games. He can't pitch 90 games. It's just not going to work. If anyone thinks it's going to work, show me how."- Craig Counsell on Josh Hader.

We sort of burned through our bench in a hurry today and Jeffress is due up.

Not sure he got a great jump, but a heck of a catch by Gamel. There may have been a touch of a Jim Edmonds web gem element to that one, but I’ll take the out!

Find a replacement for Aguilar. I'm not sure there are many spots to upgrade other than that.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave
