A huge series for the Brewers. If they can take two out of three, they'd deliver the knock out punch to the Reds. Cincinnati would then be 10 games under .500 one week out from the trade deadline. They've greatly under performed their Pythagorean so far, so the sooner they start playing for 2020 the better in my opinion.

[laughing] I fully expect a salvage game.

A lot of guys have had a lot of success against Anderson, not great. Also, the Brewers were pretty bad last time out against Gray. This is going to be a tough one to win.

I didn’t realize that Anderson’s era is below 4. I will take that!

Haven’t heard about any moves, but the Brewers could be short handed tonight. Braun will be out at Tyler Skraggs’ funeral, and you have to wonder if Thames will be available after how he looked at the plate yesterday. That would mean Gamel in left and Aguilar at first and only Pina and Arcia/Saladino off the bench. In other words, basically no pinch hitters.

I kind of expected Thames to be put on the IL with Shaw called up.

You would think the Commissioner's office could make an exception and let a team bring in another player when attending a major league player's funeral.

Cain
Yelich - LF
Grandal
Moose
Hiura
Thames - RF
Aguilar
Arcia
P

Official. I don't love Thames defense in RF with a flyball pitcher on the mound. Thames has been hitting well enough it's not a huge deal though.

Right? Exceptions should be made.

I'm surprised they haven't announced the Woodruff IL move yet? I'd think with Braun unavailable they'd want another bat (Dubon?) on the bench.

Edit: Nevermind ... Burch Smith up. I guess he provides innings coverage.

I like this lineup. Still rather have Hiura 2nd or 3rd. But this is basically what I asked for, with Thames in the OF and Aggy in lineup. I know this will be rare, with Thames in the OF.

I expect the Crew to hit better va Gray this time around. I know Gray has pitched very well vs us this year.
We took 3 outta 4 in Arizona, which I predicted.
I think, predict(hope)we take this series and the next . Boom back in first by end of July.

Wont be around for game, cause my son has karate, Letsss goooooooo.

Yelich gonna have a big game. Yelich and or Aggy.

I’m surprised Thames is OK to play. I wonder if he’ll last through more than one AB, or maybe be a late scratch after BP.

Sorry to hear that. Bath in calamine lotion or tomato juice, I don’t remember, might help get rid of that.

It’s all that running around the bases, just another couple feet on two or three of those rockets off the center field and right center field wall and he could have jogged around those same bases.
