I cannot wait till we get a new SS. What a day it will be.

Only 650 days until Turang gets the call.

Personally speaking here, hoping it’s with the DBacks cause he was needed to be moved for us to secure Greinke and Ray, who helped us get past the dodgers and to a World Series title over the Yankees in back to back World Series titles.

I don't think Puig is a knucklehead, I think he just has a certain way of playing the game that rubs people the wrong way. Personally, I don't have a problem with it.

The mike trout effect. Guy who should win basically every year.

Puig thankfully taking a nap because he would have scored easily on that. Even more thankfully Arcia pushed the runner off like a linebacker after failing to actually tag him out. Can’t go chasing a runner that long and dive when a guy is on third. Should have costed us a run, crazy he didn’t just give the ball up to Aguilar.

Or the Michael Jordan effect. That dude should have won the mvp every year he payed except for the wizards era

I think this was less hustle and more him not paying attention.

After he finally got the award on a non contending team the only time he was robbed was after that first MVP award. Even then Donaldson had some lofty stats and you could argue he deserved it just as much.

Pretty rare for someone to be worthy multiple years in a row. Not sure who a good example would be outside of Trout, but does seem you don’t get much love the next year regardless.

His command is gone. Been that way the last 4-5 outings. He’s the first to go when Stearns improves the pen, Claudio the second. Or is it the other way around?

Sometimes I think you just say things without actually looking up data.
