Time for Chacin to right the ship! They are going to need him to pitch well to even think about staying in contention.

Even if they decide to rest Yelich, Grandal, Moustakas, and Hiura to make sure they are ready for the Cubs series?

All those guys will already have Thursday off. I don't see the need to give them today off as well unless they were specifically hurting. This could mean hiura of course, but we'll see. I'm with willie, I think Brewers blow one open today. I think we win and Josh Hader doesn't have to pitch.

It literally doesn’t matter who plays. The brewers are the greatest salvage game team of all time. Bar none.

I’ll have to figure out how to put my comments in blue because apparently the sarcasm was not obvious enough. So, only Moustakas is sitting out

Lester scratched with bronchitis, Chatwood gets the start. We have to win today and gain a game on this team. The door is hanging wide open in the NL Central and nobody wants it...blows my mind. It's a bit frustrating seeing the Cardinals climb back into the race, that team never goes away quietly.

Pundits call the Central.... Competitive.
I call it weak.

Looks like Senzel may be sick and was removed from the game right after singling in the first.

How is it that Chacin has minimal fastball command, but can shape his slider however he wants and place it literally wherever he wants? Amazing how the guy can perfectly backdoor a slider on 2-0 count.

Thought I'd take a chance and watch today for the first time in a week or so hoping they might play well. Guess not.

I don't understand how a pitcher can go from overall very effective to absolute cannon fodder in a year. A consistent veteran no less.

Chacin struggles hurt even more when the teams slumping.

"I'm not as good as I was but in big moments I'm still the guy. I want that opportunity." -Ryan Braun

Trotting this crap rotation out there.... uhhh. Even on our best days, they go about 5 innings. Stearns is losing the division/playoffs each day he does nothing.

Where is the accountability? Where is the accountability? Who is responsible for this mess? You cannot continue to run Chacin out there. In the words of Vince Lombardi what the heck is going on out here?

This pitching staff is just atrocious, they really need to sell at the deadline and gear up for 2020.

It's countered by the sheer lack of other options. For some reason, this team believes Chacin is one of their 4 best starting options right now, yet Trey Supak looks like a AA Cy Young and can't even get a promotion to AAA. Maddening.
