I've never seen them overturn a HBP before, regardless how obvious it was. So I find this call weird...

Is anyone noticing what's happening in the Rays/Red Sox game? If not, take a look on twitter. It's super interesting. It seems like Angel Hernandez bungled a situation pretty badly.

I was just reading about it and looked through the box score. I really can't see what he screwed up and nobody seems to know what the stink was all about either. All umpires conferred on it and they called New York so I can't believe they actually got it wrong. What it was.

Fair enough, I keep getting just busy enough at work that I can't punt 10 minutes into figuring it out...or at least I don't want to. I just naturally assume Hernandez making a mistake is most likely.

You and everyone else. Everything I've read is basically "I don't know what happened but if Angel Hernandez is involved he obviously screwed up."

Day off tomorrow. Full glass of Haderade.

If not, I wouldn't mind Freddy. If CC wants to loose the game, Jeffress.

Fixed it for you

Anyone else notice that Gerry Davis seemed almost upset they overturned his call?

Did anyone else for a brief moment...think Moose was going to make the first out at homeplate?

Bases loaded nobody out is kinda kryponite for this team.

Man, that really hurt not getting a run there. Thames hit it hard...right at the 2b unfortunately. That's easy 2 if it gets to the outfield.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't send Moose. From where I'm seated it looked like he most likely would have made it. However, I dont know how good Winker's arm is.

Well, that was some uninspiring offense. Credit to Derek Johnson.

Nothing more frustrating........bases loaded 0 outs.............2 pitches later inning over and 0 runs scored.

You don't want to send him with nobody out unless it's a 95+% chance of being safe. If 1 or 2 outs, maybe. Really unfortunate result in the Grandal AB though...it happens.

Moose runs like Fred Flintstone so it’s hard to send him there.

Freddy Peralta it will be. The K-Rod transformation almost complete.

I feel like Hader will probably be done after that inning. Threw too many pitches. We really could use 3 or 4 runs to make that decision easier.
