First world problem: Offense too good, had to have opener hit.

Counsell would be a moron to pull Pomeranz now...his pitch count is low, he's started in the past and they are up 3-0...let him go

Our other trade deadline pick up had two important innings yesterday as well - not nearly as impressive though

Yeah he did. Forgot about that. He is cruising though and it is the bottom of the order. I think it is worth trying to steal an inning with our bullpen the way it is

Another first world problem - they don't have the bench to pinch hit for every pitcher if it's a bullpen game.

POUR IT ON offense, we can't score enough with our pitching situation this evening. If we can score 15, do it!

I heard a few days ago the players checked out already for the season. As I said then, a bunch of nonsense.

Gameday had the Stallings HR way out of the strike zone - high and above the outside corner. If so, that's a great job of hitting.

If he walks him, get a fresh arm out there CC...

EDIT: Get him out! He exceeded expectations, take him out!

EDIT, EDIT: Or not...

It wasn't a strike for sure. It was a cutter
