Well I can't say I'm surprised.

So am I the only one that might have preferred to leave Albers in to face Gonzalez?

Ground ball pitcher with runners on seemed less dangerous...

Lol. Hader. Could’ve received a ton for him at
The deadline.

At some point guys aside from Hader have got to consistently get outs late in close games - asking Hader to come in every time he's relatively rested for 6 outs if the Brewers have a slight lead is just a bad way to use him, particularly when he's scuffled lately with those assignments. Even if he gets through 2 IP to close a game, he's likely unavailable to close the next two games.

And that's pretty much why Hader shouldn't be considered a multi inning stopper when he's going like this right now. He's not getting the job done.

Tell me more about how Hader is the most valuable reliever in baseball and it's not close.

Sometimes it is just not your year. This is by far the most frustrating Brewers team I've seen.

At some point he's going to have to figure out that he can't live down in the zone. I mean... it's just not that hard to figure out.

The league has figured out Hader. Should have sold high at the deadline. Yuck.

SMH...that's just...I was VERY nervous to see him come in, would have left Albers in. Let Josh start the 9th with a clean inning.

Should have sold.

The book is out on Hader, forsure.. Can't throw his slider for a strike so hitters just wait on his fastball, which is straight and misses his spot way too often.

Predictable actually. Overmanaging is as bad as doing nothing Would rather see Hader with nobody on considering he can't keep the ball in the park. Oh well.

Fork meet Brewers. Something is wrong with Hader and that'll be the last of many nails in 2019.

Just a giant pile of steaming poop.

As much as I long for Brewer baseball in the offseason, I am pretty close to wanting this nightmare season to just end and put me out of my misery.

It's just painful.

Hader has given up 7 homers in his last 15 innings.

Hader's been below average for like almost two months now, right?

Just look at Hader's location...he's down in the zone or middle/middle - and it's still at least 75% fastballs. It might still be deceptive but at some point MLB hitters can turn just about anything around when they know what's coming.

The velo might still be decent, but all the HR's make me think he's missing some late life or movement on his heater that helped him miss barrels alot more.
