I’m not even mad right now. Houston is a great team. The bottom line is that you shouldn’t have to count on winning every game down the stretch, especially against teams like this. If the Brewers could have just taken care of business against the cupcake teams, this would just be another (likely) loss, but a forgettable and survivable one. The season was sown in the summer when all anyone in the central was doing was treading water, and now we have the reaping.

Excellent, very well done. This team has barely had a pulse since mid May.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

They could go to 60 man rosters and Junior would end up in a tie game.

Perez - Grisham - Grandal

Someone get on base so we at least have a swing at it with Yelich.

pinch hitting Shaw for Arcia is such an insane move right now, just cut Arcia already, or fire CC

There was almost zero probability of Shaw getting a hit there so yeah it was brutal.

Have no fear, here comes the Savior.

I think you have to pinch run for him, right?

Small sample size alert: Freitas cannot be retired. You can only hope to contain him on the base paths.

What is best in life? To crush the Cardinals and Cubs, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their fanboys.

Freitas just struck paralyzing fear into the pitcher.

Doesn't reaping qualify as off topic? Oh nevermind, I read it as "raping"

2 runs in 5 IP for the bullpen should qualify as a bright spot....

Stearns probably had no interest in getting a C because the Brewers need a C. It makes much more sense to trade for 3B when it's not needed, and then move the other 3B to 2B, then trade for a 2B, but since the 3B is now at 2B, then the new 2B goes to SS

Oh now CC uses his arsenal of pitchers, and it's to pinch run.

Please no DP here. If the Brewers are going to lose I at least want the fun of seeing Yelich get a shot.
