Freitas has a pretty ugly setup and swing.

I thought the exact same thing; I had to remind myself that wasn't a pitcher batting.

I have yet to figure out why so many guys come out of the farm system with messed up mechanics.

Who are the others you are thinking of, besides the 30 year old joyrneyman catcher currently with his 7th organization in 10 professional seasons?

This is where it becomes frustrating, NEVER allowing your guys to go 3 times through the order, no matter the situation, no matter what the starter looks like. It's actually pretty asinine.

At least let him go until the first sign or trouble.

At which point the screams of "left him in X batters too long again", start to rain down. Every. Time.

Some people will second guess no matter what happens.

But I said before the inning that I would give Davies two baserunners in the sixth. And I guarantee I would not be saying “left him in too long” if he had put the first two hitters in base.

The strike zone the last couple of games has been atrocious. Seriously how are some of these pitches even close to being a strike?

Arcia comes to mind, his swing is awful.

Arcia
Brinson
Phillips

Huira.'s mechanics are certainly not something you would teach a young hitter but he gets away with it due to ridiculously good hand-eye coordination.

The best pure hitting mechanics of the team are Yelich by a mile and probably Grand ol would be next.

And I've been here long enough to say there would 100% be posters making that comment.

Any bets on whether we score with the second and third and nobody out?

LOVE watching arcia hit. Diving while doing a lollipop swing is always a good idea.

Edit; Nice sac fly

Would probably make one hell of a slow pitch hitter.

Guerra is such a buzzkill.

Lead off walks never start big innings.

EDIT: Oh, ok, Guerra's plan all along was to walk the first guy, then get the double play ball. Genius.

5 run lead in the eighth inning and we walked the leadoff guy.
It's almost comical.

Love the leadoff walk to a guy who hasn’t had a hit in a week.

Love the DP more.

Sometimes leadoff walks score, sometimes they make it to 2nd or 3rd, sometimes they stay at 1st the whole inning & sometimes they get doubled up or picked off.

Grandal seems to grouse about more good strikeout pitches than most!
