We get all the Marlins games down here so we'll have to watch Fox Sports Florida for a while at least to listen to their analysis and what they'll say about Yeli.

They seemed to play well versus us so we have to be ready for no letdown from the big cub series

Lets win this series and hopefully gain another game on the Cubs. It is September...time to start beating up on teams we should and not make it harder on ourselves when we do play tough opponents this month.

It looks like the slider is this guys money pitch. Load up the lefties today. I'd actually like to see Shaw get a start at 3b today, I think Shaw will be able to hit this guy.

Grisham
Grandal
Yelich
Thames
Braun
Shaw
Spangenberg
Perez

When is Hiura coming back?

We need that bat against these bottom feeders. I want lots of runs

Huira was able to run yesterday. Could be soon. Plus Woodruff had a bullpen session.

BA said on last nights telecast that there is a chance he won't be back at all for the regular season.

Yikes, Marlins are rolling out 7 RH batters and a switch against Lyles...who is way tougher on RH batters than LH batters.

Official lineup -

Grisham
Grandal
Yelich
Thames
Cain
Spang
Shaw
Perez
P

I keep thinking back to a game I attended a few years ago where the Marlins lineup started with Realmuto, Stanton, Yelich and Ozuna and we had Wily Peralta on the mound and I knew I had wasted a three hour drive to Milwaukee. I consider losing two out of three to the Marlins in June as one of the low points of this season.

Based on my experience in a pool league in northeast Iowa, you win championships by sweeping the bad teams, rather than splitting a series with the good teams.

Go Brewers, don't let me down.

Lord help us, Augie's filling in for Rock.

"You're not going to have him when you want him and you're going to run out of games. He can't pitch 90 games. It's just not going to work. If anyone thinks it's going to work, show me how."- Craig Counsell on Josh Hader.

Listening to the pre-game and him mispronounce Spangenberg 3 times was teeth grindingly bad.

Hopefully we don't squander an opening inning opportunity, again. Come on Cain you're paid for these "professional at-bats"

Team should re-locate. Same with Tampa bay. Spring training baseball is fine in Fl. Regular season baseball a joke. Mausoleum is putting it kindly. Can’t be more than 2,000 fans there, 800 of em to see Yelich.

It has to be an injury or mechanical issue with Shaw, he can’t be this much of a mental midget.

Why take that big of a lead with a man on third? Wait til the pitch is delivered to get your secondary lead. THere's 2 outs, you can go on contact.

That hit is probably gone at Miller.

Shaw should start swinging like counsell used to. As long as he's a clown at the plate he should make us laugh.

I live here in Miami and typically get out to the Brewers series every year. Lately they’ve been late season series, and the typical crowd is definitely less than 2000. Mostly Brewers fans.
