I have zero expectations for this game so I will simply enjoy it. If we get to play the NL's evil empire starting tomorrow, even better!

Thinking Shaw will be the first PH in this game. They'll save Gamel for later in the game. Last year Arcia was very focused in the postseason and had some big hits, would love to see that again. Expect to see Spangenberg or Perez replace Hiura late in the game if they have a lead. I'm guessing the plan is to turn it into a 4 or 5 Inning game, with Pomeranz & Hader each going 2 innings on the back end.

I played this matchup in MLB The Show today and the Brewers won 12-0, Grisham was a triple shy of the cycle and drove in 4. So we got that going for us, which is nice!

I'm sure ESPN right now is feverently praying to the four dark gods of Chaos that the Brewers lose. Hate to have to cover a small market team.

Cain robs a HR in the bottom of the 9th to preserve the 3-2 win for the crew

I liked Pedro Martinez as a pitcher, but man, is he rough as a commentator.

What is best in life? To crush the Cardinals and Cubs, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their fanboys.

I’ll probably fire up MLB AUDIO and listen to
Uecker (assuming he’s on tonight.) Ernie Johnson and
Ron Darling are boring as heck. And Johnson should just stick to hoops.

That said, I’ll try to sync up the audio stream to the video even if that means I’m a bit behind real-time.

If I’m not on here much, have fun everybody. I’ll probably check in after the game.

Wouldn't the series against LA start on Thurs or Friday?

They haven't covered us all season so why start now?

I can’t get the screenshot posted here for some reason, but the Brewers charter plane has a registered flight plan from Dulles to LAX tomorrow afternoon — nothing to MKE yet. [wink]

The right to hang a "Wild Card 2019" banner at Miller Park without drawing snickers from fans is on the line. Go Brewers!!

I'm not feeling this one. Nats 7, Brewers 3 and Rendon has 4 RBI is my prediction. Hope to be wrong.

Well, win or lose it's been fun and I'm looking forward to going through the joy or pain this game will bring with like minded brethren. Let's get it done boys.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Not saying we will or won't, but would everyone here rather lose something like 9-1 rather than 3-2? I don't want a good game, only to lose a heart breaker.
