Game 7 living up to expectations. Greinke pitches his butt off (I don’t think I’ll ever not root for that guy), then Astros pen promptly blows the lead. My only problem is that I don’t really want either team to win, but other than that, this is fun.

What is best in life? To crush the Cardinals, Cubs, and Manny Machado, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their fanboys.

Astros were a Drew Pomeranz away from clinching a title.

Personally I would have made them beat Greinke.

Where have I seen Washington look dead for most of a game, then suddenly score three runs in a flash? Seems familiar...

If this holds, the Brewers lost to the champ in '08, 11 and '19. And to the WS loser in '18. That seems kinda crazy.

Laughably bad strike 3 call on Correa for out number 1 in the Astros 8th. Seven inches inside and the home plate ump was lined up right over it. Impossibly bad.

You really have to hand it to the Nats.
They've had one hell of a postseason run.

Never thought I would see a series with the road team winning the first six games, much less all seven. Crazy.

This is crazy. First time ever the road team wins every game in a World Series. Not ever done in NHL or NBA. At least three outs away from it.

Watching all the pen implosions this postseason makes me think that if the Brewers were willing to deal Hader, it would be basically a "name your price" situation. Yes, I realize that he is responsible for one of those pen implosions.

At the start of the divisional series' I found the Nationals a hard team to root for. They just don't seem exciting to me. Vanilla and boring. But after the way the Astros botched the whole Osuna debacle I am definitely rooting for three more outs.

I'm kinda glad Mattress Mack lost a lot of money.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
