That’s a pretty light hitting lineup. I try not to add to the negativity, but don’t see them scoring more than 2 tonight. Burnes needs to be nearly perfect.

In my defense they really should only have 2 right now, but glad the jinx worked. Corbin was nearly perfect on top of it.

Hitting has to be hard when the ump calls chin high strikes, lol, the Raptor will take it. He prolly threw the pitch before the ump was looking.

Tough luck there. Stolen base opens up the hole, but smacks the base stealer.

How do you not look in out of reflex on the crack of the bat?

Appreciate the jinx being in full effect tonight. The Brewers have 12 hits so far, and have had some very hard contact.

This is the team we were all hoping for this year that is indeed very fun to watch tonight.

Hey, Keston hit a fastball! Maybe because it wasn't right over the plate?

"You're not going to have him when you want him and you're going to run out of games. He can't pitch 90 games. It's just not going to work. If anyone thinks it's going to work, show me how."- Craig Counsell on Josh Hader.

Haines yelling at the home plate umpire along with this phrase seems like a very meme-able opportunity.

If Taylor was by far the best player in Appleton, how ungodly bad must’ve the rest of those dudes been?

No, he flat out isn’t THAT good. Darvish, Bauer, and DeGrom...one of those guys will continue to dominate. Burnes may end up a up a great...but I doubt dominates to overtake guys like that.

Hardest hit ball of the game so far for either team was the last Luis Urias’ single (107.4 mph). Hiura’s HR was 106.6 mph according to Statcast.

I never thought we'd see the day where Brent Suter is one of this team's five most valuable and indispensable players, but here we are.

Three inning save for Suter. Counsell wants to get back to the hotel quicker.

The Indians have had a lot of difficulty developing passable outfield hitters recently. Bradley Zimmer is probably the one that is the most surprising to me. He looked like he was safe bet to be a major league hitter, but now he’s nearly 28 years old and can’t crack an MLB roster that includes Delino DeShields Jr., Jordan Luplow, and Oscar Mercado in the outfield mix.

Counsel robbing Suter of a save just cause Claudio hasn't pitched 8 times this week yet.
