I'm ready for a bit of nerd power. Hiura needs some bench.

Kudos to Lester, he hasn't been putting anything over the heart of the plate. Painting the edges of the zone tonight.

Good God Yelich. I don't expect a 1.000+ OPS every year but come on man. We're two thirds through this season.

Having an offense was fun for the one game that it lasted.

To be fair, in a normal year he'd still have 120 games left to raise that OPS.

Technically he's also only a month and a half into the season.

Another nice frame by Nottingham. Soft hands quiet. If he bring his bat to the party we may have something.

It wasn't long ago that we churned out position players but couldnt produce pitchers. Looking forward to seeing Burnes and Woodruff anchor this rotation for awhile.

Cubs broadcasters:

"(Caratini) has not gone deep yet this season. This would be an opportune time."

(Woodruff blows one by at 97)

"Not gonna happen."

Back to back 7 inning 1 hit starts. One with 11 Ks, the other 12 Ks. That's pretty good.
