Hopefully those spasms are gone today. Another lefty for Braun to smash.

On paper tomorrow appears to be a tougher matchup versus Brad Keller who has been pitching very well this year (with Lindblom pitching for the Brewers), so a win tonight seems important in terms of playoff hopes.

Yea. It sucks his body just can't t stay healthy. If only there was a substance people could take to help with the healing process. [wink]

They need Braun to be able to tough it out for at least a couple ABs against the LHP tonight

As long as he is reasonably healthy I expect Braun to play. This very well may be the end of his career, I doubt he wants to sit around trying to fully heal.

Via Adam McCalvy:

Brewers are waiting for info on Ryan Braun's availability today. If he can play, he will DH. If Braun can't go, Daniel Vogelbach will DH.

Wade Davis just got DFA.......how quickly you go from being one of the best in the game to not worth keeping around.

Looks like his contract is up at the end of the year so obviously he has no trade value.

Royals aren't very smart are they? Guy gets hit with a 95 mph pitch right on the knee and he tries to steal.

Cards' fans wear jorts.

A Pina/Nottingham 1-2 catching combo is definitely something I can get behind.

At first glance, I swore that I just saw Vogelbach drinking a Miller High Life in the dugout and my first thought was, "that seems about right."

So it's not too early to call no hitter?

St. Louis riding Kim into the 6th at 100 pitches and it’s not working out well. They might need to squeeze an extra inning here and there with the amount of games they had to make up. Hopefully the Pirates can hold the lead now!

By my calculations if all scores hold true in the division the Brewers would fly up to #2 in the division with a slightly higher winning percentage than the Cards/Reds.

Pretty big game...and not much talk here.
