Well, we are now at must-win games. Hopefully Woodruff has his good stuff today and doesn’t run into a wall in the 4th/5th inning. That, and hope the offense can get more than one hit/run.

Woodruff is going to have to be nearly perfect tonight for us to have a chance against Wainwright. Go Padres.

Yep, still alive and need Woody to be our ace tonight. Our chances our pretty decent if we win these last 2, gotta keep the faith.

I don’t know if it’s a conditioning issue but definitely trying to figure out why Woody starts wearing down around the 4th-5th inning. It’s been such an oddball season, maybe he got out of synch with being stretched out. Hopefully it’s corrected by next year because it caps his upside this year.

Freddy Peralta has been reinstated from the paternity list for tonight’s game. Feyereisen and Lauer back to the alternate site.

Lineup is posted. Sure would be nice to get Garcia out of that lead off spot, but I guess we have no other real options.

So unimpressed with Garcia all season. Just a blah type player with no power and no other outstanding skills. Waste of 20 million for certain.

But he's proven he has power in previous years. He's been bad all year but not I don't think he is a bad player.

He’s also still getting on base at a reasonable clip and the average is one of the better ones. Not saying much but his low slugging doesn’t kill you at the top.

I have that weird nervous energy I didn't think baseball would deliver this year. That's good. But I am also comfortable with this team's true talent level. House money, right!? Make it fun, Brew Crew! Make it fun.

Avi's been great in the leadoff spot. He might end up with the top OBP on the team. I expected a bit more power but otherwise he's basically been as advertised.

Looks like the telecast will not be on Fox for at least a half hour while this marathon college football game drags on.

Have to see if it will be on FS1 of FS2.

ETA: Looks like in Milwaukee we will be switched to the Brewers.

If Stearns expected a .680ish ops and a negative bWAR I'd be pretty shocked. What advertisements were you looking at?

Bat Woody instead of Narvaez, please.

Well here we go, it feels like a game 6 of a 7 game playoff series. Either the positivity train chugs along into Sunday or gets derailed right here.

Let’s get it!

Well it certainly could have been a better 1st inning offensively than a 6 pitch inning with no hard contact.

Seriously didn't even think the game had started yet and we had already gone 3 up 3 down in the 1st.
