Stearns and Mark A must not want to make any moves this offseason as they have now let Goldy and Corbin both get away, and with how much prospect hugging is going on I doubt we do anything.

I see.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

There is no inability to make moves. Goldy wasn't a fit for the Brewers and Corbin was over priced for the Brewers. There are plenty of moves yet to make and the winter meetings haven't even started yet.

I might be wrong, but I’d be willing to bet a decent amount that the Brewers won’t make a major move this offseason.. all they’ll do is make small Erik Kratz type moves..

Could be ...

No one thought Wade Miley was a major move when he was signed.

He wasnt.. it was sheer luck that he was even good.. every time he
Took the mound i felt like we could give up 10 runs very easily.

Well, I thought you were trying to be funny by going here on December 5, so I responded with the Perdomo fun. But it's obvious you are serious, so I remind you again -- it is December 5.

Stearns and Mark A. didn't want to beat the Nats offer of 6/140 for Corbin. LOSERS!

Cards' fans wear jorts.

Is this a joke? He allowed only 3 runs 3 times. The Brewers found him the same way they found Chacin--advanced metrics. The Brewers found that Chacin had one outstanding pitch he needed to throw far more, and they found Miley had one pitch he needed to throw more. Both had terrific years.

If you guys saw someone with their head chopped off would you attempt CPR. Of course not.

This thread has its head chopped off...just let it die. Please, it was gone before it started.

I mean, trading for Christian Yelich was sort of a major move.

Hmmmmmm..... head scratcher... Not even Winter meetings yet and already people are in panic mode. Yelich & Cain didn’t come until late in off-season. Corbin wasn’t going to happen nor do I think it should have. Goldschmidt didn’t even seem like someone we would target. Why anyone would be irate with DS & MA for not making either move doesn’t seem justified.
