Not sure what criteria they used to determine who stayed and who went, but it appears they hung onto their more "controversial" personalities, at the expense of the guys who are more professional.

I've always been a big Chuck Freimund fan so I was absolutely shocked to see him let go, especially over some of the other guys at that station. Looks like I'll be tuning into 97.3 going forward.

Has to be purely financial, all these sports stations have minuscule ratings

Chuck and Wickett filling in for Drew and KB this week on 97.3 the game from 3-6 for those interested! Let's hope Wickett keeps his politics out of it!

Bill Michaels finally off the airwaves!!!! Took too long but a great start to 2021, the Big Show will be on from 10-2, and followed by Tim and Ramie from 2-6!!!!

Wasn't a fan of B.M., but hope he lands on his feet (in a place I don't have to listen to him).

Still won't tune into the Big Show, but Tim and Ramie might get me to listen to 1250 again on occasion. (It's been a long time...)

I like Tim Allen and think that will be a good show, but I find the big show very annoying.

Doug Russell was let go by WTMJ a few weeks ago and landed at 97.3 - yet another reason to tune in to that station. Always respected him, as well....

i don't think he is an on air person though. I think he works for all of the stations on iheart. I agree its the best (and only) sports station i listen to in town.
