The other day I saw a Brewer's plate that read "WIN99". Not sure what it meant since they have never won 99 games (unless you count playoffs). GM163 or WIN96 would be nice plates to have.

Here are some that are not taken that I won't be using. I'll save my list that I am choosing from and post it later, after I decide...

HBP (hit by pitch)
CCSAB (CC Sabathia)
0ERA
CGSO (complete game shut out)
3RISP (3 runners in scoring position)
BCRUW

My friend got PTBNL.

Unfortunately I live in Illinois and can't get them. But they have Cubs ones, and I'm thinking about getting one that says, "YELCH1". Or get University of Illinois plates that say "BUCKY1".

The inspiration came from a guy I saw driving around with Notre Dame plates that say, "USC1". I thought that was a clever way to take a jab at a rival.

I followed someone this morning with a Brewers license plate that was "4for4"

I'm not sure I get the reference.

Also, you would need to use capital letters. [laughing]

Wait...are you guys serious? You guys don’t get that plate?

Y’all need to look at more box scores, preferably ones where a guy gets four hits...in four ABs....

Gee, thanks for that bit of knowledge. Of course that is part of it, but I would hope that is not all it means. Otherwise it's kind of lame without much thought put into it. I mean why not just use any baseball term then? How about 5 for 5, or HR, or walk, or double, or cycle, or inning? I would think there is more to it than that and there is some double meaning to it (or even triple meaning) . They are using Molitor's number in a well known baseball "phrase"..and possibly there are 4 people in his family as well.

Or they don't like Molitor and think he was selfish taking the better deal and leaving ... It is hard to know the underlying meaning without rolling your window down at a stoplight and asking...

Stearns probably had no interest in getting a C because the Brewers need a C. It makes much more sense to trade for 3B when it's not needed, and then move the other 3B to 2B, then trade for a 2B, but since the 3B is now at 2B, then the new 2B goes to SS

Real Reason:

Thought of the most thought-provoking idea to put on their plate so a bunch of people on a fan forum on the world wide web would try to figure out how many meanings it has.

Every time on here when we start questioning a plate it makes me want to come up with something with no meaning just to see how you guys respond after seeing me drive down the road.

I don't know if this should be obvious, but the meaning of the 9 OF 13 ball-glove plate I see at Miller Park isn't obvious to me.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
